Give Me A Love Song

Give Me A Love Song

Hello, I thought you might like to know about some recent news and publications.

My short story Give Me A Love Song was published by The Penn Review. This is a dream journal of mine. The Penn Review is the oldest continuously published literary magazine based at the University of Pennsylvania. The story was also chosen by Longform as Fiction Pick of the Week.

Also, this week, my flash I Wanna Be Adored, published by CHEAP POP, was chosen for the Wigleaf Top 50. My flash I Will Not Show My Love In Turquoise, published by FRiGG, was longlisted. I am so grateful to the Series Editor, Marcelle Heath, and to the Selecting Editor, Mary Miller, for this honour. The Wigleaf Top 50 series issues annually and this year features fifty flash fictions from 2018. The list makes for excellent reading.

I found this piece in the Penn Review. It is so beautiful and dizzying. You can almost start to feel the effects of the alcohol and the conflict muddle your own brain. I absolutely loved it.
