Hello, I thought you might be interested to know that my flash fiction “Acute intoxication” was commended in the Bath Flash Fiction Award. There were 869 entries from 28 different countries. I am thrilled to have this story recognised in a competition that attracts such a strong field of writers. The judge was Meg Pokrass, a leading American flash fiction writer and poet.
I love the precision of flash fiction in which every single word counts. To me, this forensic attention to language is enormously helpful to all of my writing.
